A current global campaign at the WSPA is to achieve a Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare (UDAW) at the United Nations. The UDAW is an agreement among people and nations to recognize that animals are sentient and can suffer, to respect their welfare needs and to end animal cruelty – for good. Participants will have the opportunity to find out more about the campaign, our achievements so far, how people and animal welfare groups can get involved, and our plans for the future.
